See Isaac on TV!

Here’s how to find a recording of a telephone interview I did a week or so ago: Go to Google Videos and search for: “Freeman Perspective Isaac Bonewitz” (yes, he spelled my name wrong). I’ve had to remove the direct link because trackbacks were causing the wonderful folks at Drak.net some grief, though I have to admit that I don’t really understand what trackbacks are or how they could cause our server problems.

The interview focused on my opinions about magic and religion. I think the host did an excellent job of making a background image (even if he did spell my name wrong) and asked some interesting questions.

Let me know what you think!

This has me thinking more about getting an iSight camera for my Mac and doing some once-a-week “Chats with Uncle Isaac.” I’ve got the iChat software built into my Mac OSX, so webcasting wouldn’t be that hard. I just don’t know how people with other software and/or on PCs will be able to log in.

This could lead to doing paid video appearances at festivals who can’t afford to fly me out and/or scheduled workshops online. Maybe even doing tarot (or book!) readings over the net…

So whaddya think?

Hopefully someone with the technological expertise that you need will help out.

Going to use captioning when possible?

I hope so. The good thing about Apple products is that they are usually intuitive in design and function.

As for captioning, I don’t know. I do think I’ll want to be able to webcast charts and illustrations sometimes, so I’ll have to spend a couple of weeks learning the hardware and software capabilities.

I’ve also got some DVDs of appearances I’ve done that I’m going to investigating selling copies of.

    Labor-intensive but exponentially rewarding!

    Bright Blessings!

    I certainly hope so!

I think so, especially if the video quality is good.

Ha ha! I just had an idea. What do you think of putting a sound file on your front page of you saying “Happy Hannukwayulmas!” I like that one. Did you create that one or hear it from someone else?

When the time is right, of course! Just a thought, I know you’re veeeeeeeeery busy but that sort of thing sometimes can take off and really, well…help bust through some memes with a wide merry path.

    That’s a great idea! 🙂

Phae just suggested to me that I record some of my workshops as podcasts and sell them on the site (and at other places?). I’ll have to see if I have the software, I already have a decent computer microphone.

    …And other places.

    🙂

Great idea. The audience is there, growing, and hungry for a bouquet of explorative excellence as much as they are for some fun.
