For the next few weeks I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be updating and expanding Witchcraft: A Concise Guide<\/i> into a new book my publishers (Citadel Press) have decided to call Bonewits\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Essential Guide to Witchcraft and Wicca.<\/i><\/p>\n
Currently, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m planning to update the materials on Classic Witches, the Burning Times (everything we knew was wrong), and a few new titbits on Gerald Gardner and his competitors. I hope to add a full Wiccan ritual script, advice on how to choose a teacher, how to spot frauds, and basic Wiccan magical techniques\u00e2\u20ac\u201din short, everything a newcomer to the Craft would need to get started on the path, plus interesting materials for experienced Wiccan clergy. In part, this is based on my Wicca 101\/301 class that I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve taught in the past, with beginners\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 material spiced with insights from thirty years of practice.<\/p>\n
I would like to hear from those who have read the earlier versions(s) about what you would like to see added or changed. What could I do to make this book as valuable as possible to its readers? What have you never seen in a Witchcraft book that you really want to know?<\/p>\n
