{"id":109,"date":"2006-10-28T00:24:20","date_gmt":"2006-10-28T05:24:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/neopagan.net\/blog\/?p=109"},"modified":"2006-11-15T18:10:23","modified_gmt":"2006-11-15T23:10:23","slug":"google-nudging","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neopagan.net\/blog\/2006\/10\/28\/google-nudging\/","title":{"rendered":"Google &#8220;Nudging&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When done for nefarious purposes by people trying to get millions to participate, it&#8217;s called &#8220;Google bombing.&#8221; I&#8217;m thinking of something a little more gentle, like a few hundred of you doing Google searches for &#8220;Halloween origins&#8221; and &#8220;Halloween history,&#8221; then clicking on the links to go to my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neopagan.net\/Halloween-Origins.html\">Real Origins of Halloween<\/a> essay (or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neopagan.net\/Halloween-Origins_Spanish.html\">the Spanish version<\/a>), then coming back to click on any other good Pagan pages you can find on the topic.<\/p>\n<p>Why? Because a number of religious lunatic pages are doing something like this to get their anti-Halloween and anti-Pagan propaganda pages to outrank any honest pages on the topic.<\/p>\n<p>Go ahead. Copy this post and share it in your e-lists or repost it on your own blogs.
