Her comments here (as Zyalia) have reminded me to post something about Trish Reynolds’ “Doctor and the Witch†series of occult thrillers. The first one is A Question of Balance and the second is A Matter of Perspective. If you’ve ever enjoyed those lurid Dennis Wheatly or Sax Rohmer novels from the early 20th century, but winced at the racism, sexism, and creedism embedded in them, Reynolds‚ books will give you all the old thrills and chills without the unpleasant aftertaste. Zy is a dear friend, fellow Irish student, and an excellent teacher of the Craft, with a lovely website. Note: her books are definately PG-17!
